It took a while, but once I figured out that the changing table is actually a changing station, I added a few baskets to make the process run more smoothly. They contain much more than diapers. The open space and levels of the table make it easier to place the baskets underneath. I purchased the table on Amazon; it’s called the Graco Lauren Dressing Table.
Inside the baskets, I organized the supplies according to accessibility and how often we use them. The diapers would go on the top level of the station under the baby. We added the baby’s ointments and oils along with burp cloths and a bathing bucket and supplies. Our bathroom is tiny so I put it here. Next to the diapers are the onesies and shirts. It’s so much easier to separate them as this basket gets so cluttered the most. I used to put the pants with the shirts until I realized I spend so much time searching through the pile for them. I put his hats and socks with the pants too.
You can never have too many bibs so they have their own basket on the bottom level. Lastly, I put some blankets on the bottom level too along with some long sleeved sweaters for air conditioned rooms or cold weather.
I found the baskets at Michaels for a really good price. I’ve seen people use the badger baskets underneath and they look really good and clean but quite expensive just for one.
It’s arranged altogether according to what we use the most. I would say that as you use it, think of more ways to streamline the process to make your organized life easier.
